Kahn describes touch and sight as two entities where one sense impacts the need for the next sense. He feels that a humans need to touch brought about our need to see. "To see was only to touch more accurately." He then relates both these senses to the notion of beauty in the context of humankind within nature. He feels you can not design without the underline understanding of nature..."meeting your maker."Kahn goes on to incorporate touch and sight into a simple term, Ah. "Ah" is the reaction to what we see and touch.
These two images are derived from nature and they both bring about a sense of "ah" through my eyes. Looking at them you get a sense of touch and insight into the wonders of nature.
